ByDueDate (https://byduedate.com) is an independent website operated by an individual based in Malaysia. You can contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you browse the site
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across sites. We see totals such as page views, which page referred a visit, country and device type, not who you are. Our host, Cloudflare, also processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
When you use a calculator
Our calculators run in your browser. We don't receive or store what you type into them. When you copy a link to your plan, your due date goes after the # in the address, a part browsers never send to our server.
When you join our email list
If you sign up for our due-date emails, we collect your email address and your due date (or your baby's birth date). We use them only to send you the planning emails for that date. Because a due date can reveal a pregnancy, we treat it as health data and ask for your consent before collecting it. OurConsumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
When you email us
We keep your message and email address so we can reply and fix anything you report.
Who processes your data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and provides our analytics.
- Brevo stores our email list and sends our emails.
These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it for advertising.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may set its own cookies to record that you came from ByDueDate. Their privacy policies apply on their sites. They report sales to us as totals and commissions, not as your name or details.
Advertising
We don't show ads today. If we add them, we'll update this policy first and give you any choices the law requires.
How long we keep data
- Email list: while you're subscribed, and deleted within 30 days after you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Emails you send us: up to 2 years, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Analytics: aggregate totals only, kept by Cloudflare under its own retention rules.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in every email. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 21 days. Depending on where you live, laws such as US state privacy laws and Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act give you these rights, and we extend them to everyone.
Children
ByDueDate is written for adults. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. We don't collect your baby's name or any other details about your child.
Security
We use reputable providers, keep access to our accounts restricted, and collect only what we need. No method of storing data is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we change it, and tell email subscribers about important changes.
